Social Impact

Banu Gaidar’s social projects: education, jobs, charity and community support.

Banu Gaidar Academy

Banu founded Banu Gaidar Academy, an educational project in Atyrau for English and communication skills.

Classes ran offline and online at Beginner, Elementary and Intermediate levels. The offline classes used the premises of the Binom schools in Atyrau.

About 140 children studied at the academy (April 2026). The project is paused and may resume.

Work and jobs

43 people work in the businesses Banu created, most of them women. The figure comes from letters of the Atyrau city akimat and its Department of Internal Policy (September 2026).

Jobs for people with special needs, as noted in the letters of the city akimat and its Department of Internal Policy.

Free training in entrepreneurship and marketing for residents: it helps people master a profession, find a place in the labour market and start their own business (Department of Internal Policy, September 2026).

Support and community

Every year Banu’s business takes part in the “Mektepke zhol” (“Road to school”) campaign, helping to provide 100 children from families in need with school supplies and necessities (Department of Internal Policy, September 2026).

Targeted help for families in need, women and children.

Work with charity and public organisations: “Nur shuaq”, “ZHANYNDAMYN!”, “Qazaq analary – dasturge zhol”, the Kazakh Society of the Blind, “Ai-Ana” and the Atyrau Students’ Alliance.

Schools and education

Support for schools and educational projects: School-gymnasium No. 34, the regional special boarding school and the BINOM ATYRAU school network.

A New Year tree for the schoolchildren of Atyrau.

Culture

“Atyrau ETHNO FEST”, the exhibition “A journey to the museum” and the concert “Retro sazy”.
